In response to recent discussions concerning the BJP and the RSS, Ram Madhav, an RSS leader, clarified that the two entities are aligned ideologically and do not have any disputes. According to him, they work in distinct areas – politics and social service. This clarification comes amidst reports of differences, including those related to the appointment of the BJP’s national president. Madhav dismissed these reports as speculations. He pointed out that such narratives often emerge when other issues are lacking, aiming to portray a divide between the RSS and the BJP. He also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for acknowledging the RSS’s century-long journey during his Independence Day address, and said that this remark would encourage the workers. The discussions about the BJP’s new president and remarks on 75 years in politics were seen by some as a sign of tension. The RSS has, however, rejected these claims, confirming that they are baseless. Madhav highlighted the Prime Minister’s praise of the RSS as a positive development, boosting the morale of the party’s workforce and highlighting the volunteer’s inspiration.
