The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated its centenary with a special event in New Delhi, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The celebrations were held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, starting at 10:30 AM on Wednesday. To commemorate the occasion, PM Modi released a specially minted coin and a postage stamp. In his monthly radio program, Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi had earlier acknowledged the RSS’s century-long journey, describing it as remarkable and inspiring. He also highlighted the importance of this year’s Vijayadashami, as it marks the 100th anniversary of the RSS, founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur.
