The India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi earned high praise from Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who congratulated India on its triumph in hosting a pivotal AI conclave. He spotlighted India’s aggressive scaling of AI capabilities through investments in infrastructure, data hubs, and computational prowess—efforts mirrored by Serbia on a modest level.
In his address, Vucic said, ‘I must first congratulate India on this remarkably successful event concerning AI, a topic now central to media and social discourse.’ He positioned the summit as an ideal venue for collaborative growth and insight-sharing, vital for a responsible AI future amid global uncertainties. Modi’s address received special mention for its motivational impact.
This came after PM Modi’s sit-down with Vucic, detailed by Foreign Ministry’s Randhir Jaiswal on social media. The meeting reviewed bilateral dynamics and forward momentum.
They delved into opportunities in commerce, capital flows, AI, financial tech, academia, farming, travel, and citizen interactions. Regional and worldwide concerns were also discussed, with affirmations of the sturdy, people-centric India-Serbia camaraderie.
The week-long summit attracted over 110 countries and 30 international entities, including 20 state leaders and 45 ministers. Championing ‘AI for Humanity’ alongside India’s welfare-oriented vision, it marks a leap in India-Serbia relations.
