Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has expressed his satisfaction with the AICC All India OBC Advisory Committee meeting, calling it a significant success. He specifically commended Rahul Gandhi for his dedication to social justice. Following the meeting, Siddaramaiah read the Bengaluru Declaration, which acknowledged Rahul Gandhi’s contributions to securing social justice for neglected sections of society. The declaration acknowledged his efforts in advocating for a caste census. Siddaramaiah stated that under Gandhi’s leadership, India would strive towards achieving the highest constitutional goal of social transformation and creating an equitable society. He also emphasized the commitment to support the Congress party and fight for social justice. The declaration further recommended that the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India (ORGI) conduct a nationwide caste census based on the model of Telangana’s SEEEP Caste Survey.
