Siddaramaiah Disputes Chairman Title for AICC OBC Council

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has refuted claims that he is the chairman of the AICC’s OBC Advisory Council. He clarified via social media that he has been appointed as a member of the committee. Siddaramaiah expressed that the media has misinterpreted his role. He confirmed that he would host the advisory committee meeting in Bengaluru, led by Dr. Anil Jaihind. In discussions with journalists, Siddaramaiah indicated he would consult with the party high command concerning his responsibilities within the council.
