Addressing mounting rumors, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has denied any plans for a leadership change in the state. He confirmed that neither he nor the party is considering replacing him, declaring that there is currently ‘no vacancy’ for the Chief Minister. Siddaramaiah also rejected the idea of a ’50-50 formula’ for power-sharing with Deputy CM Shivakumar, a topic that has been circulating since the Congress party’s return to power in 2023. He highlighted that he would follow any decision made by the party’s high command and that he is currently serving as the Chief Minister. This response follows a leaked video and other internal discord speculations.
