Sikkim Landslide: Four Dead, Search Underway for Missing Persons

A tragic landslide in the Upper Rimbi area of West Sikkim, under the Yangthang Constituency, caused significant loss of life. Four people have been confirmed dead, and three remain unaccounted for following the incident that occurred at midnight. Emergency responders, including police, local residents, and SSB personnel, worked together to rescue two injured women. They were transported to the District Hospital, but sadly, one passed away from her injuries. The remaining woman is in critical condition. The search and rescue operation continues for the three missing individuals.
