Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has again targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), referring to Arvind Kejriwal’s residence as the ‘Sheesh Mahal,’ and suggesting it could only be converted into a five-star hotel. Sirsa also addressed criticism regarding the cost of renovating Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s house, stating the cost is approximately Rs 50 lakh. He noted the presence of luxury items in Kejriwal’s residence, like expensive toilet seats and remote-controlled curtains. He said that Rekha Gupta is living in a normal house. The renovation work for Rekha Gupta’s residence includes electrical and interior fittings, five televisions, fourteen air conditioners, CCTV cameras and a UPS system to maintain power supply. Sirsa also criticized the AAP for what he saw as their focus on Mughal-era references.
