A disturbing incident unfolded at a toll plaza in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where an Army jawan was assaulted and restrained by toll booth employees. The soldier, identified as Kapil Kavad, was traveling to Srinagar via Delhi airport when the confrontation occurred. The altercation began at the Bhuni toll plaza, where a lengthy queue caused Kapil to approach the staff. Following a dispute, the toll booth workers physically attacked the soldier and his cousin, with a video capturing the brutal assault. The video shows the attackers beating Kapil with a stick before tying him to a pole. Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the assault, with investigations ongoing to apprehend additional suspects. The incident is under investigation by the Sarurpur police station.
