Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have successfully neutralized two long-standing terrorist hideouts located in the dense forest areas of Kulgam. The coordinated search and destroy mission, involving the 9 Rashtriya Rifles and the Jammu and Kashmir Police, took place on Monday in Damhal Hanjipora. Acting on precise intelligence, the forces pinpointed the hideouts between Ahmadabad and Nengripora. After a thorough search and confirmation, these bases were rendered unusable, significantly hampering militant activities. Authorities have established strict cordons around the affected forest zones and are continuing intensive searches to root out any remaining concealed supplies or potential infiltrator routes. This operation highlights the persistent efforts to maintain peace and security in the valley.
