In a surprising turn during the discussion on the ‘Vision Document 2047’ in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Samajwadi Party MLA Pooja Pal praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his actions. Pal, whose husband Raju Pal was murdered by Atiq Ahmed and his associates, spoke about how CM Yogi provided her with justice. She mentioned the ‘zero tolerance’ policies initiated by the CM as instrumental in delivering justice to her and many other women in Prayagraj, also leading to the end of criminals like Atiq Ahmed. Pal stated that the CM addressed her concerns when no one else did. She highlighted that the people of the state now trust the Chief Minister. Raju Pal, her husband, was killed just nine days after their wedding due to electoral rivalry, as he had defeated Atiq Ahmed’s brother in a past election.
