In compliance with the Supreme Court’s mandate, the West Bengal School Service Commission has released the names of 1,804 candidates found ineligible for teaching positions. This action follows the Supreme Court’s instruction to disclose the identities of those implicated in the cash-for-jobs scam. The West Bengal Central SSC confirmed the publication of the list in a notice, citing the Supreme Court order of August 28, 2025, concerning the case of BEJOY BISWAS & ORS. Vs. STATE OF WEST BENGAL & ORS. The list includes candidates whose appointments were nullified by the High Court and later validated by the Supreme Court. The public can access the list on the West Bengal Central School Service Commission’s website.
