An IndiGo flight en route to Dubai from Surat was diverted to Ahmedabad following a technical issue that arose on Thursday. The flight departed Surat at 9:30 am and arrived at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad at approximately 11:00 am. IndiGo subsequently arranged an alternative flight for the affected passengers. The diversion was prompted by unspecified technical difficulties encountered mid-air, and the aircraft landed safely without any indication of an emergency. In a related event, an Alliance Air flight from Hyderabad to Tirupati was canceled on August 24th because of persistent technical problems with the aircraft. The aircraft initially returned to the bay for checks and was cleared to operate, but another malfunction caused the cancellation to avoid disrupting further flights.
