Specifically, Singh’s resignation was triggered by reports indicating that Ramchander Rao might be appointed as the next Telangana BJP chief. Singh expressed his dismay and shock at this prospect, leading him to step down from his primary membership. Despite this, he affirmed his commitment to serving the constituents of Goshamahal.
