Videos documenting the assault surfaced, showing the extreme cruelty. The incident unfolded after the woman and her alleged partner were found following a period of disappearance. Ravi, the alleged partner, was also assaulted by villagers. Both individuals subsequently went missing. Authorities have taken action, with the police booking at least 14 individuals connected to the incident and launching a search for the victims.
