A major anti-Naxal operation in Chhattisgarh’s Gariyaband district resulted in the elimination of ten Naxals. Included in the casualties was Manoj alias Modem Balkrishna, a prominent leader within the CPI (Maoist) organization. The encounter took place in the Bhaludiigi hill region.
