In Udaipur, Rajasthan, a five-year-old child was the victim of a stray dog attack, leading to the father’s strong support for the Supreme Court’s directives on managing stray dog populations. The father, Dinesh Sahu, described the harrowing experience, highlighting the physical and emotional impact on his son. He believes those opposing the Supreme Court’s actions should witness the realities of such attacks. The boy’s mother, Preeti Sahu, provided a detailed account of the incident on August 14th, including the injuries sustained and the subsequent actions taken. She noted the rise in dog attacks and called for government measures to protect children. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a group of individuals, identified as “dog lovers,” reportedly interfered with a stray dog-catching operation in Delhi, obstructing officials and vandalizing their vehicle.
