In a significant development, Jagdeep Singh, also known as Jagga, a known member of the Lawrence Bishnoi criminal network and presently associated with the Rohit Godara faction, has been taken into custody in the United States. Efforts are underway to secure his extradition to India. Jagga is a wanted individual in Punjab, declared a proclaimed offender with more than twelve registered cases against him in Dhurkot. Rajasthan authorities have also issued arrest warrants for him in Jodhpur, with cases filed at Pratap Nagar and Sardarpura police stations. His criminal history includes prior jail sentences in both Punjab and Rajasthan. Jagga fled India roughly three years ago, initially traveling to Dubai on his passport before illegally crossing into the US. He was detained by US ICE agents near the border with Canada. This action comes shortly after the deportation of Lakhvinder Kumar, another alleged Bishnoi gang member, from the US.
