The industrial landscape of Uttar Pradesh is set for a major boost as Gorakhpur prepares to launch projects worth Rs 1,551 crore. The Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) is spearheading these initiatives, with the Chief Minister set to officiate the events. A major focus is on the Plastic Park, with a Skill Training Centre and CFC being established. The Plastic Park, supported by the central government, is designed to enhance India’s plastic sector. Several units are already functioning, and three new units, representing a Rs 120 crore investment, will be inaugurated. Additionally, private companies will invest heavily, creating numerous job opportunities. A CETP for waste management and the Kalesar Housing Scheme are also key components of the plan, promising comprehensive development in the region.
