Uttarakhand Cloudburst: Rescue Efforts Underway, Uddhav Thackeray’s Delhi Visit

Tragedy struck Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, as a cloudburst in Dharali village triggered flash floods in the Kheer Ganga River, resulting in five deaths and the stranding of 60-70 individuals. Rescue operations are being conducted with urgency, with SDRF, NDRF, and the army actively involved. Additional teams and helicopters are on alert. Alongside this, political debates are ongoing in Mumbai concerning a pigeon house. A Jain community procession will begin from the Dadar pigeon house at 10 AM. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena UBT leader Uddhav Thackeray will be in Delhi today. He is planning to meet with Rahul Gandhi and other leaders. The Delhi Assembly will also be in session, running concurrently with the parliamentary proceedings. Opposition parties are protesting in Parliament regarding the SIR issue.
