Following a cloudburst in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, a major landslide struck Dharali. Relief and rescue operations have been launched. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has mobilized resources, instructing officials to expedite rescue efforts. The Chief Minister is maintaining close contact with the army, SDRF, NDRF, and local administration teams, which are actively involved in the rescue work. He is receiving regular updates on the evolving situation. It’s reported that approximately 50-60 individuals are currently unaccounted for. The cloudburst triggered a flood that swept away several homes in Dharali. The army has reported a massive landslide at 1:45 PM, which resulted in the sudden influx of debris and water into the residential area. The extent of the damage is currently being evaluated. Authorities are focused on assisting affected citizens during this crisis. Over 150 army personnel are involved in the rescue operations.
