West Bengal: TMC Leader Shot and Hacked to Death; Probe Launched

A local TMC leader, Rajjak Khan, was murdered in Bhangar, West Bengal, on Thursday evening. Unidentified assailants shot and then attacked him with sharp weapons near Siristala. The Kolkata Police confirmed the incident, stating that Khan was returning home when the attack happened. He was declared dead at the hospital. MLA Saokat Molla has alleged the involvement of ISF-backed miscreants and called for their arrest. Police are examining the crime scene and conducting interviews to gather evidence.
