Woman Dies in Bus Accident in Shimoga, Days Before Wedding

A tragic incident in Shimoga, Karnataka, resulted in the death of Kavita, a 26-year-old woman, just weeks before her wedding. The accident took place near the sugar factory at Dummanalli Cross. Kavita and her brother were on a motorcycle when another vehicle carrying a large amount of goods made contact with them. This caused her brother to lose balance, and the bike went off the road, with Kavita falling onto the street. A city bus then struck her. Kavita was working as a radiologist at a private surgical hospital and had resigned from her position, with her last day being the day of the accident. The wedding was planned for September 24th, and a photoshoot with her future husband was scheduled. Local officials, including BJP MLC Dr. Dhananjay Sarji, responded to the scene to offer support to the grieving family and promised financial assistance.
