Bengaluru police are investigating the murder of a 33-year-old woman, Harini, allegedly at the hands of a 25-year-old tech professional, Yashas. The crime took place in an OYO hotel room on June 6th. Police have registered a case at the Subramanyapura Police Station. The victim’s attempt to end her relationship with Yashas is believed to be the cause of the attack, with the suspect stabbing her 17 times. Harini was a mother of two and was reportedly facing family difficulties. This incident echoes another case from April in Electronic City, where a man named Krishna was arrested for the murder of his wife, Sharda. The murder occurred near Big Toguru, and an extramarital affair is suspected to be the motive.
