International Yoga Day, observed annually on June 21st, marks its 11th year of celebration. This year’s focus is on “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the central figure at the International Day of Yoga event in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The event in Visakhapatnam is poised to host approximately 5 lakh attendees, spread across a 26-kilometer area near Ramakrishna Beach. Home Minister Amit Shah is also participating in a significant yoga event at the Adalaj Vav stepwell in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Moreover, the Andhra Pradesh government anticipates the involvement of more than 2 crore people throughout the state in today’s yoga activities, aiming for a Guinness World Record by issuing over 50 lakh yoga certificates.
