Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. Kumaraswamy congratulates PM Modi on becoming Prime Minister for the second time. Apart from PM Modi, Kumaraswamy also met Union Water Power Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
According to the source, after meeting PM Modi, Kumaraswamy spoke to the media about his cabinet expansion. Kumaraswamy said that it is a political issue, leave it. We will handle it. There is nothing to worry about. On the other hand, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday and urged the Centre’s cooperation on issues related to tribals and the poor.
In a brief statement after the meeting, Baghel said, “We met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi today and congratulated him on the formation of a new government. Baghel further said that the pending issues pertaining to 70 lakh tribals, 58 lakh poor families of Chhattisgarh were requested for early redressal. He said, “It is hoped that the Support of the Central Government will continue for the development of the country and the region.” Baghel has arrived in Delhi to attend the meeting of the Steering Council of the NITI Aayog.
