Raipur. On the occasion of Independence Day, a special reception was organized at Raj Bhawan on Thursday, in which prominent personalities from different regions of the state participated. Governor Ramen Deka congratulated everyone on Independence Day on this occasion. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai presented a bouquet to Governor Deka and extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes on Independence Day. First Lady Rani Deka Kakoti was also present on this occasion.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Forest and Climate Change Minister Kedar Kashyap, Revenue, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankaram Verma, MP Brijmohan Agarwal and other MLAs and public representatives were also present at the ceremony. On this occasion, respected personalities like Padma Shri awardee Madan Singh Chauhan, Shamshad Begum, Dr. Radheshyam Barle, Usha Barle, Swami G.C.D. Bharti and Anuj Sharma also marked their presence. Family members of martyrs, police officers awarded with bravery award, and personalities who have made outstanding contributions in various fields were also present in this dignified event.
