Raigarh. An incident of drowning of a minor youth resident of Tikrapara of Kotwali police station area in Kelo river has come to light. As soon as the information was received, Finance Minister OP Choudhary along with Raigarh SP and SDM reached the spot. The diving team is engaged in searching for the minor.
According to the information, the minor son of Prakash Chauhan, a resident of Tikrapara of Kotwali police station area, went to Pachdhari to take bath with his 3 friends on Monday at 12 noon. After this, when he did not return home, the family started searching for him. At 11 pm, the boys of the locality told the youth’s father Prakash Chauhan that his son has drowned in the Kelo river, after which the family reached Minister OP Chaudhary with their plea.
Minister Chaudhary immediately instructed the police station to search for the youth. It was difficult to search in the river due to nightfall. Early in the morning, a team of divers reached the spot along with the police administration and started the search. Finance Minister OP Chaudhary, Raigarh SP and SDM also reached the spot. OP Chaudhary consoled the family of the youth and assured them of all possible help from the administration. Two teams of divers and rescue team are engaged in the search, but till now nothing has been found about the youth.
