Let us tell you that the soldiers were carelessly taking Ganja smuggling accused Suraj Bhatra from Keshkal to Jagdalpur Central Jail. During this time the accused escaped by dodging the police. SP Y Akshay Kumar suspended constable Budhram Netam, constable Vijay Netam and constable Harendra Shori with immediate effect after being found indiscipline.
This incident took place in Kotwali police station area of Bastar district. The accused is a resident of Keshkal. Bastar ASP has confirmed this. It is being told that the police had stopped near Amaguda for tea, during which the prisoner escaped after getting the opportunity. The prisoner tried to hide by running towards the forests near Amaguda, the police immediately swung into action and surrounded the forest from all sides. Kondagaon police along with Bastar police is busy searching for the prisoner.
