Mithlesh Gupta, Jashpur. The headless body of a young man was found under the Shri river bridge in the Kunkuri police station area of the district. There has been a stir in the area as the head and torso were found separately. This incident of Wednesday night came to light on Thursday morning when the local people went near the bridge and were stunned to see the condition of the body.
The head and torso of the body were found thrown separately at a distance of 50 metres. The age of the deceased is said to be around 40 years, but the body has not been identified yet.
Kunkuri police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and started investigation. Efforts are being made to identify the body with the help of local people, but the body has not been identified yet. At present, the police is busy investigating the case.
