Manoj Yadav, Korba. 6 robbers held the driver hostage in the name of taking the pickup on booking and beat him up. After this, they looted the pickup and the money and fled leaving the driver in the forest. On the complaint of the victim, Hardi Bazaar police has registered a case and started investigation.
This case is of Hardibazaar police station area. According to the information, a pickup was booked to take Syntex from Ambika Traders of Hardibazaar and five bags of cement from Manoj Hardware of village Boida to village Jevara. 6 youths were sitting in a circle in Sothi forest. The youth who was taking the booking stopped the pickup vehicle on the pretext of stomach ache.
As soon as they got the chance, the thieves who were lying in wait took the driver hostage. After this, they beat him up and left him in the forest and fled with the pickup vehicle and the money. Somehow, the driver saved his life and reached the village near the forest and informed 112. On the complaint of the case, Hardi Bazaar police has started investigation.
