Raipur. Inder Singh Uboveja will take oath as the Chief Lokayukta of Chhattisgarh today. Governor Ramen Deka will administer the oath to the Chief Lokayukta. The oath taking ceremony will take place at Raj Bhavan at around 12:15 pm. Retired judge of Bilaspur High Court Inder Singh Uboveja has been appointed for the post of Chief Lokayukta.
CM Sai’s program
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will remain in the capital Raipur today. CM Sai will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Chief Lokayukta Inder Singh Uboveja. As per the schedule, the Chief Minister will reach Raj Bhavan at 11:55 am and will attend the swearing-in ceremony, in which former High Court Justice Inder Singh Uboveja will take oath as Lokayukta. After this, the Chief Minister will leave for the Chief Minister’s residence from Raj Bhavan at 12:50 pm.
Huge Dahi Handi festival in Raipur, Hansraj Raghuvanshi will present bhajans
On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janma Mahotsav, a huge Dahi Handi Utsav competition will be organized at Dahi Handi Ground Gudhiyari on Tuesday, 27th August from 4 pm. Organized with the special cooperation of Sarvajanik Dahi Handi Utsav Samiti and Shri Hanuman Mandir Trust, this year the committee has invited famous Shiv Bhajan singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi to fill the devotees with devotion to Lord Krishna in this grand event. At the same time, Chhattisgarh’s popular singer sisters Garima and Swarna Diwakar will also give presentations colored with folk-cultural colors. Telephone court and open forum tomorrow
BSNL has organized a telephone court and open forum for consumers on August 28 at BLNL office, Auto Exchange Lalganga Complex, GE Road. The telephone court will be held at 3 pm and the open forum at 4 pm. BSNL consumers can appear in the telephone court with their cases.
