Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will release the sixth installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana today. During his stay in Jagdalpur, CM Sai will attend the district level women’s conference organized there and will give Rakhi festival gifts of Rs 1000 each to the women of the state under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. On this occasion, he will also launch the Mahtari Vandan App.
It is noteworthy that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of one thousand rupees each is transferred every month by the state government to the bank accounts of about 70 lakh married women of the state in view of their economic empowerment.
In the conference, the Chief Minister will also distribute bank loans worth Rs. 100 crores to 3061 women self-help groups under financial inclusion for carrying out economic activities. In the programme, along with garlanding the statue of martyr Gundadhur, the Nari Shakti Chariot will be flagged off by the Jal Shakti Rath.
