Raipur. Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries has written a letter to Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu to provide flight facility from Raipur to Suraj. Traders have demanded to start flights for the business needs of the state.
It has been said in the letter that the capital Raipur has the largest textile and bullion market in Chhattisgarh. All types of textile and bullion manufactured in India are imported and exported in Raipur market. Most of the trade is done from Surat (Gujarat) market. A large number of traders travel from Raipur to Surat (Gujarat) every day. The textile and bullion traders of Raipur have been demanding air service between Raipur and Surat for a long time.
With the start of air service, trade will increase on a large scale
Traders said, with the start of air service between Raipur and Surat, economic activities between the two states will increase. Trade will happen on a large scale and new jobs will be created, which will generate additional revenue. Keeping in mind the problems of textile and bullion traders, regular air service should be provided from Raipur to Surat (Gujarat).
