Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that conservation and reconstruction of water resources of the state is necessary. The rivers, lakes and other water sources of the state are the basis of our lives. It is necessary to be conscious of both government and society for their protection, revival and effective management. For this purpose, three months of water Ganga enrichment campaign is being started in the state.
The state level water Ganga enrichment campaign will be conducted in the state from 30 March to 30 June. Maximum efforts should be made to make it successful. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave important instructions to the collectors regarding the campaign through a video conference from the ministry on Friday evening. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released the published booklet of the state level water Ganga promotion campaign.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the collectors and other officials to make the campaign successful and said that senior officers of the administration at the district level should also connect all public representatives with the campaign. The participation of all under the Jal Ganga Promotion Campaign will help in getting good results of cleaning and maintenance of water sources.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the staff of the district administration and officers and employees of the departments should also work together in the campaign. It is noteworthy that in the campaign, Panchayat and Rural Development, Water Resources, Narmada Valley Development Authority, Urban Development and Housing, Horticulture, Agriculture, Public Health Engineering, Industry, Environment, School Education, Culture, Public Relations, Revenue, Forest Departments as well as Jan Abhiyan Parishad have been made the main participants. According to the local strategy of the campaign, the cooperation of other departments in the districts can be taken at the collector level.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the work of cleanliness and cleaning of the ghats of rivers should be done in the places associated with the life of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, especially in religious places along the Narmada. Beautification and hygiene works of small rivers and other water structures should be done continuously. Necessary facilities should be taken care of for devotees in the premises of major religious centers and temples located in villages.
Make necessary preparations for festivals-
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the administrative and police officers to maintain the status of law and order on the upcoming festival festival. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that while on March 30, there will be programs of Gudi Padwa, Chetichand and Year Pratipada, Chaitra Navratri is also starting. Along with this, there is also Eid on 31 March.
In view of all these festivals, administrative staff in the districts remained vigilant and active.
