Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that all the beneficiaries of the tribal class should provide firm housing. No beneficiary should be deprived of getting housing. For any reasons, the eligible beneficiaries who were left out of getting housing should be given to all the pucca houses according to the promotion of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing a review meeting of the Earth Aba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan at Samvat Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence) on Wednesday. In the meeting, he instructed all the departmental officers associated with the field and beneficiary selection under the campaign to ensure development work in targeted areas according to the fixed action plan and criteria.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this campaign is an important initiative towards the overall development of the tribal community. Its effective implementation will expand basic facilities in rural areas. He has instructed the officials to prioritize the health, education, employment and infrastructure schemes in the campaign. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Energy Manu Srivastava, Additional Chief Secretary Science and Technology Sanjay Dubey, Additional Chief Secretary Eurja Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Rashmi Shami, Principal Secretary Finance Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary Tribal Work Gulshan Bamra, Secretary and Commissioner Public Relations, Dr. Sudam Khade, Commissioner Tribal Work Shree Shukla.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reviewed the preliminary progress of the campaign so far and the development proposals sent to the Central Government in the context of the campaign. The Chief Minister insisted on making concrete strategies to speed up the development works needed in tribal villages, settlements, mazars tolls. With this campaign of the central government, the state government is making every effort to uplift the tribal communities. The government aims to reach every beneficiary’s benefits of all the schemes run for the tribal class. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that efforts should be made at the government level to promote sustainable farming in tribal villages of the state. After testing the soil in the village, farmers should be told which crop will be more beneficial. Also seminars should be organized to encourage durable and environmentally friendly farming. He said that milch cows should be provided with government cooperation to remove malnutrition among the children of tribal families.
This will improve the health of mothers and children of the tribal class. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to complete the survey work by 31 March 2025 to bring the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to village to village in 89 development blocks with tribal population. He said that work should be dedicated to everyone with the intention of giving firm housing.
