The villagers themselves are unaware of the actual reason behind the deaths. At the same time, apprehensions are also being expressed that is there some divine wrath behind these deaths? In such a situation, the villagers are investigating the possibility of divine wrath along with health reasons. On the other hand, the Chief Medical Officer of the district, Dr. Mandavi, confirming the above deaths, has said that the regional BMO has been sent to the village and information has been obtained. Some of the deceased had taken treatment from the local doctor before their death.

It was found that first an old man died, and then after this, seven other people died one after the other in a span of 15 to 20 days. Apart from two best friends studying in college, the deceased also include girls, young people, middle-aged and elderly people.
According to the villagers, people died during treatment in different hospitals in the span of just one night after suffering from different problems including bleeding from nose, vomiting blood, fever etc. The village sarpanch, father of the dead college student and local villagers shared information on this mystery of death during a meeting held in the village.

On Tuesday night, the collector, SP and other top administrative officials reached Nichekohda village and took stock of the situation. Along with this, they met the villagers and the relatives of the deceased and investigated the reasons for these deaths.
