Pradeep Gupta, Kawardha. A video revealing the system has surfaced in the district, where due to the absence of Muktidham in the village, the villagers performed the last rites of a dead person by covering them with a tarpaulin in the rain. Its video is going viral on social media. This case is of Bipatpur, a dependent village of Khairatulsi Gram Panchayat of Pandariya development block.
According to the information, Muktidham has not been built in the village for cremation. Due to this, the villagers have to perform the last rites of the dead person by covering them with tarpaulin during the rainy season.
