    60,822 acres of land in Odisha and six other states owned by Lord Jagannath: Law Minister

    Vaneshwar: There is about 60,822 acres of land in Odisha and six other states in the name of the famous Lord Jagannath temple located in Puri. Odisha Law Minister Jagannath Saraka gave this information in the Assembly on Saturday. Giving a written reply to the question of ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA Prashant Behera, the minister said that 60,426.943 acres of land has been identified in 24 out of 30 districts of Odisha in the name of Mahaprabhu Jagannath Ji of Srikshetra Puri.
