Apple, the maker of iPhone and other devices popular across the world, has reduced the price of its MacBook Air M2 13 inch in India. The company launched MacBook Air M2 on Tuesday for Rs 1,34,900. Last year, Apple launched the lightweight, compact laptop MacBook Air M2 13-inch with its M2 chipset. The price of the company’s MacBook Air M2 13 inch starts from Rs 1,19,900. Its 256 GB variant can be purchased after discount for Rs 1,14,900 and the 512 GB variant can be purchased for Rs 1,44,900. Both versions of MacBook Air M2 are available through the company’s website in India. Specifications of MacBook Air M2 It has a 13.6 inch Liquid Retina display with very slim bezels. Apple’s M2 chipset has been used in it. It was launched with macOS Monterey out-of-the-box but with the upgrade to macOS Ventura, its performance is claimed to be better than before. It supports up to 2 TB SSD storage. Its webcam is 1,080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and with four speakers. It supports Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. It has a force touch trackpad with magic keyboard. This laptop has USB Type-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports and 3.5 mm headphone jack as connectivity options. A 67 W USB Type-C power adapter is available with it. Its battery lasts for about 18 hours. India is an important market for the company. The company’s sales have reached a high level in the country. Apart from this, Apple has also made preparations to increase the production of iPhone in India. Apple started its online store about three years ago in the world’s second largest smartphone market. Recently Apple has also opened two retail stores in India. In the last financial year, exports of mobile phones from the country increased to $ 11.12 billion (about Rs 90,000 crore). Apple’s share in this export is almost half. Apple has also made preparations to increase the production of iPhone in the country.
