Instant messaging platform WhatsApp is rolling out new features for its users. WhatsApp’s effort is to make its platform more convenient for people. In this series, a new calling feature is being introduced for Android users. According to reports, now group calls can be started on WhatsApp with 15 people. Last year, WhatsApp had announced that 32 participants would be able to participate in a group call, but a group call could be started with only 7 contacts. Rest of the contacts had to be added later. Now this limit is being increased and group calls can be started with 15 people. WABetaInfo, which tracks updates related to WhatsApp, has said in its report that the new beta build version 2.23.15.14 related to WhatsApp is now available on the Play Store. Users using it can now start group calls with 15 people. The report says that this update is important and saves people’s time. Users will now be able to start calls with more people. If someone wants to group with only 15 contacts, he will not need to add contacts separately. Recently there was news that WhatsApp is reportedly introducing a new privacy feature for community members. This will allow users to hide their phone numbers while joining a community. The report said that the feature reportedly named “Phone Number Privacy” is available to all Android and iOS beta testers. With this, users can participate in conversations and react to messages while hiding their name and phone number from other members of the community. The Meta-owned instant messaging app has not officially revealed when it plans to make the phone number privacy feature live for all users.
