BJP attacks Mamata Banerjee, raises questions on incident of cruelty to women in West Bengal

BJP alleged that it would not be surprising if TMC-protected criminals involved in women trafficking were behind this incident.

Yesterday, a hair-raising incident came to light from North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, in which a partially burnt body of an unidentified woman was recovered. BJP IT Cell Head Amit Malviya has attacked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding this shocking incident. He has also questioned Mamata Banerjee’s silence on such cruelty against women in the state.

Along with this, he has also taken on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and India Alliance.

Mamata Banerjee cornered over law and order situation in West Bengal

Sharing the video of the incident on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Amit Malviya wrote, This is the law and order situation in West Bengal. A tied up body of a girl, soaked in blood, was found in a garden near the India-Bangladesh border in North 24-Parganas, her throat was slit and her face was so burnt that it could not be recognised. But Mamata Banerjee will not say a single word on this.

He alleged that it would not be surprising if TMC-protected criminals involved in women trafficking were behind this incident. But then it will be called a tragic death and buried quietly.

Questions raised on Rahul Gandhi and India alliance

BJP’s Amit Malviya also attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding this horrific incident. He asked in his tweet whether Rahul Gandhi, who sheds crocodile tears whenever politically necessary, will criticize Mamata Banerjee for failing to protect women in West Bengal or will the compulsion of the India alliance come in the way?

A soul-shattering video of the incident surfaced

In this post, Amit Malviya has also shared a video of an unknown woman in a burnt state. In which his hands are tied behind his knees. The woman’s face seemed to be covered with a cloth and smoke was coming out from the burnt cloth. His face was so burnt that it could not be recognized. This video is disturbing. That’s why we are not showing you the video.
