He told that devotees were standing in the queue to receive Prasad when a child fell and two elderly women bent down to save him from being crushed. Superintendent of Police said that during this stampede, a child and 13 women were injured and they were taken to Sadar Hospital. He said that children and two elderly women died. The condition of the remaining injured is said to be out of danger.
