Earthquake tremors in Kathmandu
National Seismology Center informed that an earthquake of 4.1 magnitude on the Richter scale occurred in Kathmandu, Nepal today at 4:17 am.

Three people, including a five-year-old child, died in a stampede at Durga Puja pandal.
A five-year-old child and two women were killed, while several others were injured when a stampede broke out at a Durga Puja pandal in Bihar’s Gopalganj district on Monday. Police gave this information. Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat said that this incident occurred due to crowding at a pandal located in Raja Dal area of the city. He told that devotees were standing in the queue to receive Prasad when a child fell and two elderly women bent down to save him from being crushed. Superintendent of Police said that during this stampede, a child and 13 women were injured and they were taken to Sadar Hospital. He said that children and two elderly women died. The condition of the remaining injured is said to be out of danger.
