With the arrival of winter season in Delhi, the concern about increasing pollution also increases. CM Arvind Kejriwal implements many new rules to control the increase in smog and pollution. Now, a new method has been found to prevent pollution caused by vehicles. Cameras equipped with artificial intelligence are being installed in Delhi, which will check which vehicle has a valid pollution certificate in its name and which does not. These AI powered special cameras capture the number plate of the vehicle and cross-check it with its database. If a vehicle without a valid PUC is captured by these cameras, the owner will be issued a notice via SMS by the Delhi Transport Department. The Delhi government has been installing AI-powered cameras at four locations in Delhi for the last two months as a pilot project. Which is being tested in Model Town, Shastri Nagar, Mall Road and Shahdara. These special cameras have been fitted at a total of four petrol pumps in these areas. A senior department official told TOI that these cameras showed that 15-20 per cent of the vehicles coming to the pumps did not have a valid PUC. The report further states that the department has now decided to extend that PUC tracking camera project to 25 petrol pumps in the capital city. Currently, the department is only sending notices to violators through SMS. At the same time, the work of creating e-challan and sending them directly to those owners is also going on. If you live in Delhi and want to get the pollution control certificate made for your vehicle, then you can do so in 950 fuel pumps of the state. Are. For this you just have to tell your mobile number at the PUC center and get your vehicle checked. If your vehicle passes this few-second test, you will get a certificate. Currently the PUC price is Rs 60 for two-wheelers and Rs 80 for petrol four-wheelers. At the same time, the price for diesel four wheelers is Rs 100. This does not include 18 percent GST.
