Israel Hamas War: The war between Israel and Hamas has entered its 11th day today. To defeat Hamas, Israel has intensified its attacks in the Gaza Strip. In view of Israel’s ground offensive, more than 1 million people have so far left their homes in Gaza. Other aid groups, including the United Nations, have warned that Israel’s ground attack could increase the humanitarian crisis. On the other hand, with the help of American warships, a large number of Israeli forces have been deployed on the Gaza border. Many buildings in the Gaza Strip have been razed to the ground due to the air strikes that have been going on for the last ten days.
However, rocket attacks on Israel by Hamas terrorists have not stopped. More than 4,000 people have lost their lives so far from both sides. Hamas has taken 199 people, including children, hostage. Water supply to UN camps in Gaza has also been stopped. People are craving even every drop.
UN and France appeal for humanitarian aid: France has said that Gaza residents should not be stopped in war-torn areas. The blockade of Gaza should be relaxed to provide humanitarian aid. Earlier, UN Chief Antonio Guterres appealed to Hamas to immediately release all the hostages without any conditions. Also urged Israel to allow uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas clarifies, Iran was not involved in the attack: Hamas representative in Lebanon Ahmed Abdul-Hadi said on Monday that Hamas supporters, Iran and Hezbollah will not allow Israel to ‘crush Gaza’. He denied that Iran was also involved in the attack on Israel.
Israel said- Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran should not be tested: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran and Hezbollah along with Hamas not to “test us” in the North. Netanyahu said in parliament on Monday that the world needs to unite to defeat Hamas. We will not spare the enemies of the country under any circumstances.
