Kerala Police arrested actor Vinayakan of the film ‘Jailor’ on Tuesday for allegedly creating ruckus in a police station under the influence of alcohol. The actor allegedly created a ruckus at the Ernakulam Town North police station in the evening. Vinayakan was summoned to the police station after an alleged dispute in the apartment. When the actor reached the police station, he created a ruckus. A senior police officer said that actor Vinayakan was arrested for creating ruckus in the police station. He was also taken to the nearest hospital for necessary medical examination.

However, actor Vinayakan was later released on bail. The police have registered a case against him for creating ruckus and making obscene comments on the police. The police officer said that the actor was in an intoxicated state. A case was registered against him after he assaulted a policeman. Due to their uproar, work at the police station was disrupted. Actor Vinayakan had called the police to his residence yesterday afternoon to resolve a family dispute. However, four police officers, including a woman officer, who reached his house were harassed.

According to sources, actor Vinayakan later reached North Police Station at around 7 pm in the evening, where he was fined for smoking in the police station premises. He is also accused of creating ruckus in the police station. Police said that when he was being taken to the hospital for medical examination, he misbehaved with the officers under the influence of alcohol. Vinayakan was booked under bailable sections of the Kerala Police Act and he was released on bail at 10.30 pm.
