Nishikant Dubey had written a letter to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha regarding Mahua Moitra, who was surrounded by allegations of taking money and asking questions in the Parliament. Following the BJP MP’s allegations and a lawyer’s complaint to the CBI, Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar revealed that the language of Mahua’s questions resembled that of businessman Hiranandani. In a letter written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Dubey alleges that Mahua Moitra received gift and cash (Cash For Query) from businessman Darshan Hiranandani for asking questions in the House.

‘Bribery’ from an industrialist for asking questions

Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekhar alleged that the company was ‘actively and aggressively lobbying for data localisation’.

In a letter to Vaishnav, Dubey asked him to take the allegations against Moitra “extremely seriously” and to trace the IP addresses (Internet Protocol addresses – numbers used by Internet service providers that connect to the Internet) of all the login credentials in the Lok Sabha of the TMC leader. devices) and to find out if there was ever a case where their log-in credentials were operated from the location where they Was not present.
