MP News: A big news is coming out from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. According to the information, a fire broke out in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital here late on Wednesday night. At the time of the accident, there were five patients admitted in the ICU who were safe to be transferred immediately. A health department official gave this information on Thursday. Eyewitnesses said that the fire broke out in the ICU located on the first floor of Care CHL Hospital on AB Road. He told that the fire was minor, but due to the smoke filling the ICU, amidst the chaos, the glass of this unit was broken and the fire was extinguished.
Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. BS Saitya said that at the time of the fire incident, there were five patients in the ICU of the hospital who were immediately shifted to other rooms. He said, all five patients are completely safe. Initially it seems that the fire started due to short circuit in some equipment of the ICU.
Regarding the incident of fire in the ICU of Care CHL Hospital, Indore, ACP Bhupinder Singh gave information and said that due to short circuit (11.10), fire broke out in the ICU on the first floor. Suddenly there was sparking and smoke filled the air. There were five patients in the block and all were saved. Everyone is fine and no one was injured.
Dhananjay Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of Care CHL Hospital, said that where the fire broke out, there were 5 patients who have been rescued and shifted to another unit. There has been no casualty in the accident. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
