Danish Ali said, “I have seen Nishikant Dubey’s letter. We have had verbal lynching in the House, now it is a narrative of lynching outside the House. I would request the Speaker to investigate it, investigate it properly. “Investigate the baseless allegation. The kind of baseless allegation that has been made, it is another case of breach of privilege against Nishikant Dubey.”

What was in Nishikant Dubey’s letter to the Speaker of Lok Sabha?
In a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Dubey accused Ali of interrupting and making unpleasant comments during Bidhuri’s speech in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. Also said that the purpose of doing this was to provoke him (Bidhuri) to lose his patience.
Allegation of objectionable remarks against PM Modi
Dubey also alleged that Ali also made ‘very objectionable and derogatory’ remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP leader said that this is enough for any patriotic public representative to lose his temper and fall into their trap by uttering such indecent words.
BJP MP had demanded investigation into Ali’s conduct
Dubey said in a post on social media platform ‘X’, “The Speaker of the Lok Sabha should also investigate the indecent comments and conduct of Danish Ali.” Under the rules of the Lok Sabha, there is a provision to punish an MP for interrupting him while he is speaking, speaking while sitting and making continuous comments during the allotted time.
Show cause notice to Bidhuri on objectionable comments
Controversy arose when Bidhuri used objectionable words against Danish Ali in the Lok Sabha. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla warned Bidhuri and his party issued him a show cause notice. Bidhuri’s comments have been removed from the proceedings of Parliament.
Opposition parties have targeted the ruling party BJP at the Center over Bidhuri’s objectionable comments. Congress, Trinamool Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and other parties have written a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker demanding action against Bidhuri.
