    What is WhatsApp channel?

Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp Channel has recently released a new channel feature, similar to Telegram. WhatsApp Channels has also included a Directory Search feature in the channel, which helps users find channels created by their favorite content creators, businesses or celebrities.

Not only this, users also get the facility to react to the messages of the creators. Now along with PM Modi, many other celebrities and leaders have also created their own channels.

Launching the new WhatsApp feature, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a Facebook post, “Today we are launching a WhatsApp channel at the global level. We are adding thousands of new channels to it, which people can follow on WhatsApp. You can find these channels in the ‘Updates’ tab.
